A whole lot of change

Exams are over and so is school, what now? Lol not a whole lot. Well, partys, partys and sleep really haha. I am in the process of getting a job but its taking longer than I had thought and in the meantime I may as well relax lol. I cant believe schools over forever, excluding university. Then I have to move out, start my own life. It's cool tho cos a few of my friends plus my boyfriend are coming with me so I wont be alone. According to my disgruntled english teacher, I am a changed person and its a shame I became social haha. It's odd because shes the only one that thinks that. Everyone else is really really happy and glad about it. One of those people include me. I made it my goal at the start of the year to be more outgoing and be more friendly and i think iv accomplished that quite well. I did the talent quest, gone to partys, lots of other stuff that i wouldnt have done in my dreams. So really her opinion meant nothing cos its wrong. She said to me "Is it just english that u started to not put as much work in for?" And i would have told her the truth but i thought i better not, but the truth was that i didnt work in english because she didnt teach properly and she picked favourites then ignored the others. It was so unfair, so I decided to ignore her. She doesnt realise i actually worked a million times harder in subjects like geography which I actually care about. This could seem childish and immature but it did have its reasons and other people thought the same as me so i guess i cant have been that wrong. Im glad i never have to be taught be her again anyways. I went for my first job interview last week and i thought it went quite well, i was kind of offered the job but turned it down as it wasnt what Id expected, stupid move really but it really was a boring job. Guess ill have to keep searching. Life is just beginning, and I cant wait to experience it on my own two feet so its my own experiences. December already, almost christmas time!! Cant believe it. Scaryness haha. Oh and a couple of days ago, we glad wraped his guys car, who is in our year, we used over 400, of the stuff then we got shaving cream to put on as well but he caught us b4 we did that part so we had a huge shaving cream fight and got covered haha. Was so much fun and we got revenge for all his smart jokes all year too. It was great. Oh well thats about my rant for this time. Ciao for now people.

Its almost over!!

So one week and 2 days to my high school life is over!!! Cant believe it. Iv decided to go to Waikato uni to study geography next year, whether thats the right thing to do or not is another question but i can always change my mind and do something totally different. Got a whole life to live right? You could say this is a stressful time recently with all the work and study but at the same time its sorta of exciting that soon im gonna be responsible for what I do and who I am. No more going to the same place everyday and doing the same things. Iv applyed for 2 jobs now. One in a supermarket and one as an IT assistant hehe. Yes thats right, Im the computer geek who loves to play around with computers for hours on end and drink coffee but thats ok cos i like the outdoors too. Im hoping to go to climbing camp some time before uni starts cos I havent done much climbing for aaaaaages. Coming back to the topic of school, , my geography study is going good. Actually passing the tests with good marks is giving me good reason to smile. All those hours going over and over the same things must work well. We're studying 1984 in english or drivilish as we call it. The book itself was quite good on first reading before the teacher tore it apart. Now its just like ugh do we have to read this and analyse it anymore!!! Same with the film we watched. I didnt like it in the first place but hey it wasnt too bad but with a few "And what does this camera angle represent to moral society?" chucked in there it just wasnt the same. Im really gonna miss some of the teachers when I leave, theyre really cool and some are more like friends especially my computer teacher shes awesome. Guess ya gotta move on tho at some stage and my time has arrived. Im keeping in mind my whole travel thing and I was talking to a friend on the net the other day who is in Iraq in the army and he was telling me and trying to describe how much different it actually is there compared to the medias view that they show to us and it just made me realise even more, ya gotta get out there and see for yourself, not just hear or read about things because it wont be real. Theres a real world out there but you just gotta go after it to really experience it. Also in my life recently, iv started to read my bible again after a period of not. Iv realised its something i want in my life and it feels right this time. Its all about learning Iv realised. You cant just expect to understand cos thats just not the way it goes. Wow, its November all ready. Scary how fast this year has gone by. Like I went to OPC in April and now its November. Life moves quick so Im gonna run as fast as I can but slow enough to really experince everything it has to offer. Schools over, life starts and so does my journey. Hahaha thats very philosophical for a Wednesday evening. And, Im still determinded to go to Mt.Everest and the general region to go make a difference, their way, not a westerners way. I want to help the people but in a way thats theirs. So yea, thats always being my dream and still is :D Keep dreaming people.

Back to reality

Well, holidays are at a sorry end. Reality is kicking in and im running in the opposite direction. During this "Study break" i had promised myself i was gonna study in the second week all week. When the time came it just didnt happen so here i am lol not much better off but much more stress free well thats not exactly true. Still got too many decisions and life altering things going on that i dont exactly want to deal with. Only 5 more weeks of school left then its getting a job time even though i dont want one hahahaha. Then its off to uni. Iv got accepted into Waikato but i dunno about Auckland. I got into the accommodation there tho haha. I really dunno if uni is my thing yet but i suppose u gotta give it a try right. If it doesnt work out then oh well. Still gonna follow my dreams of Mt Everest. Climbing is always gonna rock my sox. Hmm itd be nice just to go build myself a little hut in the middle of the bush and just live in peace with nature lol. I can dream tho, its free and doesnt require a million forms to fill out. Ugh, just thinking of next year gives me a headache, wish i had more time. In a very odd place right now but im sure it'll pass.

Just another glance at the sun

Three more days to the holidays!!! Yayness. Only thing about these holidays though is you either study or u dont but then feel guilty for not and so u cant really enjoy em anyways haha. Hope its gonna be sunny for them cos i really want to get out and about sumwhere. Next term is gonna be my last ever one at college, such a scary thought. A few people from my school are going to the same university as me so thats good, ill know a few people. Oh another good thing is summers coming!! hehe cant wait to just relax in the sun and get a tan. My desk is a no go zone at the moment as there is soooo much paperwork on it its getting there tho. We went down to Forest pools on the weekend and took my lilo and boogie board to go down the rapids on. Trust me, during a race, to collide with a fallen tree and get doubled up between it and my lilo then get flipped off and into the freezing water to get dragged down the rapids on my stomach hitting the rocks haha. Wasnt too nice at the time, all i could think was breathe, breathe hehe. Got out, much shamed and shivering but laughing. Then we carried on up stream to find sum more even bigger rapids to play in and collected sum rocks then came back down stream to dry off and go home. Was mean fun. Its cool as walking up that river, its so scenic. Its absolutely freezing like it hurts to get in at first but after a while its bearable and then u get into the spirit of things and think what the heck and just dive in lolz. Hmmm yea, thats about everything thats happened in my life hehe. Dream high people XD

Talent quest 08

Ok so last night was the annual OC talent quest and i actually entered this year haha. My friend and her sister and I did the evolution of dance. 6 minutes long and i started learning it at 3pm the same day haha. Remembered it all tho which was good. The hall was like fully packed so i was very proud of myself for getting up there and doing it cos i usually wouldnt have. My legs hurt bad as today hehe. It went really really well over all tho had a lot of fun rehearsing and performing it. That was my accomplishment for the year and was a very proud moment. Was glad my pixie was there to watch too that was cool. Hmmm im so glad its Friday today, a whole two days relaxing and apparently it has to be sunny so yay i may even get to be outdoors for more than 5 minutes without getting drenched. This is gonna be the shortest entry i have most likely as its almost time to leave for school and i havent made lunch yet. Oh but in other good news, I GOT INTO HEADSPACE!!!!!!! How cool is that!!! I was soooooo happy. That made my week. Such awesome news. Keep dreaming XD

Cos thats how we roll

Well my geo test went quite well really, got a merit hehe yay!! Still got heaps to learn for the other case study tho. Im going to auckland on saturday for a uni visit thing should be cool. Always like a good trip to auckland. Is anyone else sick of rainy weekends? You get nice days during the week when were stuck in classrooms but as soon as u get home and have free time its rainy. Hope its good weather this weekend, i got plans. Hmm well iv still got no idea what to do next year. So many options yet still i sit confused and wonder lol. Im sure something will come up eventually. I actually had a very quiet weekend this time. Wasnt a good one what so ever but yea it all came right in the end. There seems to be a lot of new born babies around at school recently, soooo cute!! Exams are coming up soon *hides under duvet* theyre only practise ones but i still hate them. We have to stay for the full three hours which sux. Exams are just bad in total. If they had an exam on lounging on the beach now thatd be good. 5 days to spring!!!! Woo hoo!!! Then itll be summer and that means no school and lotsa beach days and tramping for as long as we want. Oh and maybe sum responsible stuff lol. I learnt a very important thing today, and that is that my friends will always stick by me no matter what and will defend me to the last thing lol. They rock!!! Hmm whatelse has happened..... or is happening.... oh yea me and my friend are entering the talent quest and doing this long as dance routine its like 6 mins long lol. shouldbe heaps of fun as its our last year and all. lol and thats about it really, not a lot happens in Okaihau but thats just how we roll lol XD Keep dreaming

Studying with Vivaldi

Ok well, i have a massive geography test 2morrow and am freaking out trying to learn all the specific case study for it. It's based on Tourism in Queenstown so yes... ever need a complete run down on stats for that come to me lol. I went to the beach on Sunday!!! It was complete blue sky but cold as, cold as in there was still frost on the ground at 1 in the afternoon lol. Thats cold in Northland!! But we went swimming anyways and came out totally frozen but happy as cos hey, its the sea and its winter so its like a rarity when u do get to go to the beach right. We climbed up this big as hill as well not using the path lol so we went through all this springy as bush to get to the top where theres this cool monument thing. Hmm, on the school front its just the same really. English is unbearable as usual, but other than that its pretty good. It's got to the stage where its time to move on though. We have figured out tho that studying with classical music in the background alters your brainwaves or something so that you can study better haha, its still in the experimentation stage though hehe. On another note, i got my ear pierced again today. Just down from the highest one i got XD wasnt as sore as i had anticipated. So i got 4 in one ear now hehe. 3 in the other one. All pretty colours lol. We've got midterms soon, in like 5 weeks i think. So starting to study hard as cos i want to pass these ones so that the end of year ones arent a major cramming session like last year cos that was just bad. I lost my voice b4 the geography exam from repeating all the stuff we needed to remember over and over again lol. Iv learnt my lesson well and truely for that one. Hopefully we'll get the ball pictures back soon. Its been like over a month now so they should be coming back soon. So yea, thats about the pretty little picture thats school life lol.
